Arts Practicum Series

Arts Practicum refers to the class block on Fridays from 2:30 until 4:00. It is used for varying purposes throughout the year, including SAT preparation, planning “Ninth Week” trips, service work, yearbook compilation, and preparing for events such as art shows, talent shows, and fundraisers.

Class Electives

Also included in this time block are class electives, held in 3-6 week unit studies throughout the year. Many of these electives are interdisciplinary in nature and derive from student suggestions. And there is frequently an athletic component in the mix. Students sign up for the class of their choice ahead of time. Check out the great photos by clicking on arts practicum under Highlights at the right hand sidebar.
