WITH THANKS TO MIKI LISZT

Renaissance School has been fortunate to have contributions and guidance from Miki Liszt, on staff since the School’s founding. She has served as instructor in Movement Arts and, following the 2008 retirement of Head of School, Pati Cunningham, she stepped up to serve as Interim Director. Her first task was to assist in the development of a new administrative model, the School Executive Committee (SEC). As she described it, “The resulting transparency and collaboration brings all members of the School community into the educational exchange.” Miki stepped down from her position during spring 2010. The Renaissance community cannot begin to list the ways in which Miki has contributed to our School. She has been persistent in a pursuit of education that integrates the arts. She has created a structure for the flow of ideas between faculty, administration, students, and families. She has been selfless in her time and dedication. We will miss her and her leadership.
